Anne Valérie Hash Autumn/Winter 2010/11

Welcome to 4 Anne…

The ethos of Anne Valérie Hash’s Autumn/Winter collection was ‘ease’  with emphasis placed squarely on the practicality of menswear for women.

Jackets with pushed-up sleeves were given ribbed panels to give them a slouchy feel, whilst oversized men’s trousers were cut off at the knee to expose sheer leggings or printed pyjama bottoms layered underneath. Her signature jumpsuits were back, either tailored and belted or draped in silk, and maxi dresses were ruched here and there to draw the eye to the neckline or hem.

Though the collection heavily referenced menswear, Hash ensured that as the show progressed hems became shorter, silhouettes flirtier and fabrics increasingly sheer, with emerald, sapphire and amethyst emerging from the masculine colour palette of previous looks.

Anne Valérie Hash will be joining 4’s roster for Autumn.
