Italian shoe designer Marsell makes the craft of leather making his sole (in both meanings of the word) focus, with handmade boots coming in supple finishes with a ‘beaten up’ quality, done deliberately to evoke the air of a long time favourite pair. For a more contemporary take on the material, beige and sherbet patents and contrast broguing make beguiling pieces.
We’re firm fans of Marsell. We’ve stocked the line from the dawn of 4. Buttery soft leathers that melt on your feet. We like! These are some Spring Summer 2010 shots taken at the Tranoi trade fair in Paris this month. Images from: http://dianepernet.typepad.com/diane/
