Thierry Mugler’s seminal label is renowned for developing a womenswear aesthetic in the ’80s that consisted of sharp tailoring, strong silhouettes and shoulder-pads. The Mugler brand has expanded and mutated into the fields of cosmetics, accessories and art-direction in recent years and with the instalment of David Koma as artistic director in December 2013, an exciting interpretation of the Mugler woman is taking place.
