Curiouser & Curiouser

It feels like we’ve been waiting ages for the release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

But before Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter hit the screen in March, dresses inspired by the story will hit Printemps in Paris in February.

In honor of Lewis Carroll’s story and Tim Burton’s film, the Parisian department store has asked Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Bernhard Willhelm, Haider Ackermann, Manish Arora, Ann Demeulemeester and Maison Martin Margiela to invent one-of-a-kind dresses for Alice – a stellar list of outside-the-box designers, though we would love to see an Alice dress designed by the actual Margiela.

Johnny Depp, if he made it, would be the icing on the Paris Fashion Week cake.
