The Musee Galleria launched its hors les murs exhibitions at the Musee Bourdelle with the retrospective on Madame Gres (1903-1993).

“I wanted to be a sculptor. For me it is the same working with fabric or stone” said Madame Gres.

The exhibition has chosen the most emblematic pieces from the brand. The exhibition takes us through the 30’s to the 80’s and has been photographed by Richard Avedon and Guy Bourdin, among others.

The exhibition will run until July 24th, 2011.

A definite Parisian stop if you are interested in the subject matter.
