A new tea boutique has opened in Copenhagen that marries the tradition of a teashop with a modern, clean-cut aesthetic. Designed by Copenhagen-based studio WeArchitecture, T-Magi is the Danish outlet of premium French tea brand Mariage Frères.

The interior features an image of a teapot picked out in backlit perforations on the counter and shelves, best seen from the street at night. A scent wall houses 40 different teas in small glass flasks.

Mariage Frères, best known for its heritage-heavy, wood-panelled Parisian tea salons and boutiques, opts for a modern store design that will surely be to the taste of design-conscious Danes.
