L’Eclaireur number six by Studio Arne Quinze

A must new retail stop in Paris…

Celebrated Belgian artist Arne Quinze has just completed the interior of L’Eclaireur‘s new Parisian outpost owned by French fashion connoisseur Armand Hadidaand his wife Martine.  This is their sixth store they’ve opened as well as having one in Tokyo and they clearly went pretty far into the concept, deciding to create a space different than any of their other boutiques. Wanting to prove that for selling fashion it is not obligatory to show it, they decided to hide part of the clothes, leaving room for the perceiver’s imagination.

The incredible interior consists of two tons of wooden planks and uses recycled elements including printer plates. Animations are screened on 147 video screens embedded in the walls.
