In tune with consumers’ desire for a clean and simple design, design studio Three.Ball.Cascade has created Luce hair salon in the shell of an existing building in Chibu, Japan.

Large wooden structures frame customers as they sit down for a hair cut. Some contain mirrors while others remain empty.

The unshaded lightbulbs that hang from the ceiling add a raw feeling to the space.
