David Koma has been named creative director at Mugler. Koma fills the position left vacant by Nicola Formichetti, who has since moved to Diesel.
“We want to write a new page for Mugler, putting it back on the map in the fashion business,” said Virginie Courtin-Clarins, director of development, marketing and communications. “We have the potential to modernize it and I think the potential is huge.”
Koma’s first collection for Mugler will be resort 2015, unveiled in June next year, followed by a Paris Fashion Week show in September.
