Studio Toogood For Comme Des Garcons

London interior designers Studio Toogood have installed a pile of boxes decorated with multi-coloured electrical tape at the Comme des Garcons Aoyama flagship store in Tokyo.

The project is Studio Toogood’s second cooperation with the fashion label, following their Sneaker department at Dover Street Market in London last year.

Inspired by the deconstructed plaids found in the Spring Summer 2010 menswear collection, a decorative, broken pattern was marked out on the surfaces of the stacked white cubes using rolls of ubiquitous coloured electrical tape to create a clear contrast to the bags displayed on the cubes.

Comme des Garcons can exclusively be found at 4.
