We come bearing a triple whammy of exciting news from Margiela.

 

First up is the arrival of the Maison Martin Margiela 20 exhibition on London shores. The brand’s collaboration with MoMu fashion museum in Antwerp will commence its third leg at Somerset House on June 3rd 2010. The ambitious retrospective traces the illustrious career of the Belgian eccentric, paying homage to his wit, vision and daring deconstruction of dress codes by incorporating installations, photography, video and film. 

Whilst we wait, though, why not head to Paris for the highly-anticipated Maison Martin Margiela sample sale being held between the 15th – 17th April. We’ll race you there…

The super-brand has officially landed in Miami’s sleek, chic ‘Design District’, with a temporary new store whilst they seek a more permanent location. Staying faithful to the MMM premise, the latest outpost is decked in full Maison regalia, down to the signature labyrinth or mirrors and antiquated whitewash. More importantly, the store stocks as much Margiela as one might hope with the men’s, women’s, shoes and eyewear collections in place, as well as the new all-white Asteriks (*) line.
