Swedish practice Johannes Norlander Arkitektur has designed ‘Villa Alta’, a single family home located just outside of Stockholm, Sweden.
Informed by the topographical conditions of the site, the residence seeks to compose a functional layout within the relatively small and restricted area.
Measuring 4.6 meters in width, the dwelling features an angled, wedge-shape plan that contributes to the open interior environment.
Void of unnecessary internal walls, the design utilizes the hooked intersection of wings as a room divider in itself
allowing for continuous flow between spaces.
