The idea to re-imagine iconic 1960s transparent raincoats was initially met with skepticism – a lot of retailers were afraid of the plastic material thinking it would be too stiff or would decay with age as most vintage plastic garments do. But the designers persevered and managed to develop a unique, machine-washable material that references the past whilst looking firmly to the future.
