Paris Fashion Week Menswear stared yesterday with 4 favourites Haider Ackermann and Raf Simons featuring on the opening day.

Simons used his invitation to make a bold statement, rendered in bright red letters on a fold-out poster: “To the archives, no longer relevant.” Which suggest a new approach for the designer after last season’s nostalgia themed collection.

Paris Fashion Week is among the most global of the fashion weeks and day 2 welcomes the contrasting styles of Kolor and Rick Owens whilst further highlights are expected from Yohji Yamamoto, Etudes and JuunJ.
