London based, Chinese designer Yang Li, 26, established his eponymous collection in 2011, mounting his first runway show in Paris last year.

His clothes bridge a divide between polished and rough with every seam and every embellishment “a study of human behavior,” with all of its flaws and failures.

Li says he is drawn to “imperfections” and this is interpreted in his pieces which feature subtle details and understated contrasts.
