For David Koma’s debut resort collection, the designer said he wanted to look at athleticism as a source of inspiration – that and the colors and textures of empty swimming pools.
Koma — who is also creative director at Mugler — has generated designs that skim the body, at times with sculptural flourishes.
While the silhouettes walk a more relaxed line than his more graphic Spring and Autumn collections, there are still some directional touches that came through in the bold ruffled leather bodice that enlivened a black tank dress, and a minidress inset with panels of leather lacing wound around the body.
David Koma is exclusive to 4.
