House taken by art-ants gang is brainchild of Colombian artist Rafael Gomezbarros – a movable project where 1300 ants take over any number of buildings – on this occasion the National Congress of Colombia. 

With the aim of the artist being to provoke discussions focusing on immigration, displacement and rootlessness while promoting culture.  Ants are compared to immigrants – hard workers who fail to be part of, or considered by, society.
