 4’s Cake of Disturbance

Organised by cutting edge fashion label, Boudicca (one of our favorite labels), this fun and friendly ‘cake off’ competition took place in Boudicca’s London studio.

Home-made concoctions filled the gigantic table, each in a bid to sway the judges. Worries over what to wear to an event like this went out the window as full-on feasting was the only thing on the agenda.

Our entry, 4’s Cake of Disturbance was an arty expression combining decadence and darkness. Laced in glittery black icing, limbless gingerbread men lay in despair trapped in sticky fun, while voodoo jelly-babies were poked and prodded with pins. Each mouthful definitely had a sickly sweet taste of the dark side.
