Having seemingly taken a page from the Footballers’ Wives handbook, Courtney Love now defines her sartorial evolution in pre- and post-Birkin terms.

Like a new moneyed mistress, the singer refuses to name the benevolent individual who gifted her the bag, lamenting the fact she’s only just received one at age 45. “It’s kind of tragic when you think about it,” Love says.
