British designer and 4 favourite Osman Yousefzada has been chosen as the latest focus of the V&A’s Fashion In Motion exhibition.

The Fashion In Motion series has previously featured designers including Giles Deacon, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roksanda Ilincic, Christian Lacroix, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Gareth Pugh and Vivienne Westwood – and Osman admits he’s excited to be among their number.

“It a real honour to be selected to show in the V&A Fashion in Motion, which has showcased some of the greatest designers, including some of my favourite contemporaries,” Osman told Vogue.com. “I love the idea that my show will be accessible to a wider audience.”

For one day, on May 21, the designer will present a selection of pieces from his collections to date in a series of catwalk shows at the V&A’s Raphael Gallery. Alongside the Fashion In Motion shows, contemporary dancers will showcase the way in which Osman’s designs move on the human form.
