Flower Power Lives On!

London architects Tonkin Liu have created something of a work of art after completing a wind-powered metal flower beside the River Mersey in England.

A 14 metre-high flower with petals of perforated galvanised steel, the structure is a key part of a regeneration project along the waterfront at Widnes.

The structure is certainly eye catching in the flesh and from any point on the landscape.

We say the spirit of flower power as interpretted in the name of renewable energy.
