Despite a strong reception from buyers and fashion press, Haider Ackermann is not continuing with his just-launched men’s line.

According to company reps, the line, which debuted at Florence’s Pitti Uomo in June 2010, was supposed to be a one-time deal, a single collection to complement his increasingly high-profile women’s line.

It might seem like a lot of trouble to dole out an entire collection for image purposes only, especially since his unique take on menswear, with its luxurious fabrics, sensual draping, and baroque beading, was unlike anything recently seen but we are certainly not complaining.

4 was one of only a select few stores in the world to be shown the line and it’s currently just arrived in store and selling well – truly collectible attire.  Final words of wisdom – get it fast folks…

Haider Ackermann’s women’s and men’s line is exclusive to 4.
