Iris van Herpen recently showed in Barcelona “Crystallization” – a 10 piece preview of her S/S 2011 collection, which will be shown in full in September at London Fashion Week.

In the transformation of water in to crystal, Iris van Herpen finds the liquid chaos, which evolves to a solid architectural structure, which is the inspiration for this Crystallization Collection. Inspiration for the new collection was also found in an assignment in collaboration with Benthum Crouwel Architects for Arcam, the architectural centre of Amsterdam. Note the dress that falls around you like flowing water.

We have been following Iris with interest for some time now and we predict this girl will go stellar.
