Lernert & Sander For Selfridges, London

Talking about their latest installation for the Selfridges windows, Dutch duo Lernert & Sander were taking seven of the most tedious domestic appliances and refashioned them into art creations.
What looks like an oversize pink Chanel clog, on closer inspection is actually a dishwasher built into the body of the shoe. Sewing machines are remodeled into a pair Yves Saint Laurent skyscrapers while two slick black irons are transformed into Stella McCartney stilettos.
