Here at 4, we love it when designers think outside of the box.

Perhaps that’s why these wooden models by Italian architect Michele De Lucci caught our eye. Whilst sharpening his pencils with a penknife one day, the architect was inspired to work manually with wood, independent of his clients needs. With the intention to research and explore, De Lucci eventually took a chainsaw to solid wooden blocks and created the small wooden houses that you see below.
