Moncler Gamme Bleu FW10/11 – Milan Fashion Week

We have been amazed at Montcler’s reinvention the last few years and Gamme Rouge and Bleu are certainly worth watching.

Clever distribution, fantastic presentation and Thom Browne and co.

So what do you get when you mix an accomplished American designer known for his skill in tailoring and a European luxury skiwear brand then?

Thom Browne’s FW10/11 collection for Moncler was a beautiful composition of fit and flexibility. Tailored ski pants, down-filled blazers and even a wool trench-coat graced the catwalk in a palette of plaids and pinstripe. The functionality of traditional sportswear is certainly not lost in the clean silhouettes of the collection. However the infusion of luxx fabrics and unusual colour choices ensured that the collection is as elegant as it is versatile. This is the ultimate in ‘off-the-slopes’ chic!
