Excuse me sir, did you just take my picture? is a series of photographic portraits by Serge J-F. Levy.

Levy’s interest lies in capturing the moment at which his subject matter – a stranger in the street of New York – acknowledges his presence,  as he explains, “Years ago when shooting in the streets I would release the shutter only milliseconds after raising the camera to my eye, But in Did You Just Take My Picture, I allowed myself to feel the tension and excitement peak just as I would press the shutter.”
