With half the design world stuck in Milan thanks to the volcano and the other half unable to get there, we thought this would be a good time to blog about ‘The Regional Blanket’ by VÃk Prjónsdóttir of Iceland.
The blanket was exhibited in Reykjavik last month as part of Design March when the eruption began, and shows the landscape of Iceland and the spread of the volcanic eruption.
We don’t know if we want a constant reminder of the disruption, however we’re sure many will find this blanket something of a memento.
